Psychological Assessments
GPC provides mental health assessments to adults, children, adolescents and older adults to assess emotional, social, personality and overall psychological functioning. An assessment can examine difficulties such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, mood regulation, school issues, sleep problems, body image difficulties, alcohol and substance abuse, and personality concerns.
During the assessment, the assessor will meet with you (and your child, if relevant) to gather information on emotional, psychological, and behavioural functioning. Standardized tests may also be administered. Following the assessment, the assessor will meet with you (and your child if relevant) to provide feedback. If applicable, a diagnosis is made and recommendations are provided. The assessment will also highlight a person's unique strengths on which recommendations can be built.
