Financial Capacity Assessments Are you concerned about a friend or family member’s spending habits? Has your loved one developed advanced dementia or a traumatic brain injury, which has resulted in impulsive decision-making? Are you concerned that your friend or family member could be evicted or face another serious consequence if they do not keep up with their bills?

GPC offers consultation services in order to assess whether a person is able to understand and appreciate their financial and property decisions. It is important to stress that a person would have to consent to this assessment. In addition, careful review of any existing Power of Attorney papers, and relevant bills, income tax papers, bank statements, and medical records would be helpful before completing this assessment.
